First Day in Disney World

One of my dreams came true!  We took Greer to Disney World for the first time.  It was so much fun and I have absolutely no regrets in taking a toddler.  Greer absolutely loved the characters one hundred percent!  He touched them, hugged them, kissed them, played peek a boo with them, high fived with them.  It was all so fun to watch and be a part of!  Here is our first day in Orlando.  We took it easy and stayed at our resort when we arrived.  Such a good suggestion for us!  That night we went to Downtown Disney for dinner at T-Rex and shopped around for a while.  We of course made it to the World of Disney....the best Disney store ever!
The pool was amazing....of course everything at this place is!

This is the slide Greer came down over and over.
If you look real close, you can see him and Jeremy.
After the first few times, he was climbing out of the
water and walking up to the slide by himself.
He then decided he was brave enough to go down the slide by himself.

There he goes again to the slide

There he goes!  Oh my!

The lobby!  I loved our hotel so much!  It was so peaceful and relaxing.
You could walk out of the resort and see the animals up close and personal depending on the time of day.  The attention to detail here is amazing!  Imagine elegant meets rustic!
There is nothing cheesy about this hotel!

Greer watching tv with the big kids while we got our room keys.

Pirate Greer....covered in chocolate milk!
Reason number 2 not to let him drink this stuff!

Do you see the hidden Simbas on the lace curtains.
So sweet!  I love the Lion King!

A little touch of Disney!  Love it!

Greer had the best view!

In this bag is the stroller we rented from Magic Strollers.
Best.stroller.rental.company.ever!
I highly recommend them if you are not traveling with one!

So we gave T-Rex a chance.  You have to try everything at least once at Disney.  I was a little weary, considering we are not huge fans of Rainforest Cafe and they are owned by the same company.  We ended up having a great time and enjoyed our food.  They are also on the Disney Dining Plan, so that was great news too!  We didn't wait long to be seated(we had a reservation), but our dining experience lasted a long time.  They certainly do not rush you in and out like I thought.

Pictures don't do this place justice.

He was a little unsure of this guy!
These creatures move and make noise when you come near them
and some of them are not so friendly looking either!

Jeremy's meal...it was very tasty!  Huge portions at this place.

These are Legos

Snow White

Greer loves him some Buzz!

Amazing!

The lobby at night!  I want to live here!
