Greer's Class Easter Party

We had another fun class party...celebrating Easter this time.  It was so sweet watching the children play and interact with one another.  We went on an egg hunt in the classroom, which took about two seconds.  The children did a cross craft, a relay with eggs, an egg toss, read The Parable of the Lily and Pete the Cat Big Easter Adventure, and then talked about the meaning of Easter.  My favorite part was listening to the class respond to questions Ms. Becky asked about the resurrection eggs.  It is so amazing to see the story of Easter through the eyes of a child.  Definitely a very challenging holiday to explain, but major lessons learned here!  I went home and immediately ordered the kit from Amazon Prime.  They are such a wonderful way to teach the story of Easter.
